I have a HP 5510 and FC#16. While printing a job, got frustrated at several extra unnecessary pages that were being printed, and, unable to somehow tell the printer to only print the pages required, hit the on/off button and turned off the printer. When we turned the printer back on, nothing would print. The printer showed a status of "stopped," and, unable to find a way to change the "stopped" status, I un-installed and re-installed the printer. I tried to print a test page, and now the printer shows Processing - "Rendering completed". But still no printing.
I have the cups page open, but haven't found a way to make it print, so if anyone recognizes what I've done and knows how to correct it, I'd appreciate finding out how to fix this. Thanks.

Got it! Or got lucky, and that works for me! Tried another option after un-installing and re-installing (again.) This time chose what turned out to be a "printer," instead of the option I chose earlier, that apparently was for a "fax."
It worked. Solved!
