ok so i am not sure where to start. i recently trying to better my knowledge on fedora. I installed fedora 12 i had the dvd it went in with out a problem when i downloaded and burned to a dvd F17 when i out the Dvd in. It prompt to the install menu when i click to install the screen only shows a black screen (this freaking sucks). been stuck on this for 3 days stressful. i read on line installing about upgrading fedora using yum but i only could update it to 14 and thats it now my computer when i boot it up goes straight to init 3 setting. so if anyone can help me please i really want the F17 and right now feel like banging my head against the wall.
