I'm having trouble installing makemkv on my fedora 17 machine.
I am following instructions here http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=224
I have downloaded the two source packages and extracted them.
But when I try to install the required tools and libraries in the next step I get..
Code:

$ sudo apt-get install build-essential libc6-dev libssl-dev libexpat1-dev libgl1-mesa-dev libqt4-dev
[sudo] password for xxxx:
sudo: apt-get: command not found

So I tried sudo yum install instead and get...

Code:

$ sudo yum install build-essential libc6-dev libssl-dev libexpat1-dev libgl1-mesa-dev libqt4-dev
[sudo] password for xxxx:
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit

What am I doing wrong?
Sorry but I'm used to installing apps from the gui :confused:
