5Ghz wireless networking with atheros AR9285

Hi there,

I have two different laptops, both with fedora 17,and both having the Atheros AR9285 chip.

Recently I have bought a dual band wireless router, namely the TP-LINK WDR 4300.

I can connect to the 2.4 Ghz band, but not to the 5Ghz one.

My question is:

How do I know if the wireless chip AR9285 is capable of seeing the 5 Ghz band? I have read the tech specs
from Atheros, from there I got not clear response.
