I'm trying to install Fedora 18 (64-bit KDE) on my new SATA hard drive via a Live DVD. Unfortunately, the hard drive is not being detected by the Installer. I've never had this problem before. As an experiment, I tried plugging in my current IDE hard drive with Fedora 17 (64-bit KDE), and the Installer couldn't read that either. I then booted Fedora 17 (64-bit KDE) on my IDE drive and found that it was detecting my SATA hard drive without issue, in spite of it being unformatted.
Is there a way I can get the Fedora 18 (64-bit KDE) Installer to properly detect my hard drives?
