Newegg battles patent troll
The next step for Newegg, after defeating the patent troll, is to reclaim all court and legal costs from said patent troll. The problem in that, is the troll scum dissolve - scurry away from sham shell company - then reform in another sham shell company.
Another way of addressing this issue, Newegg will not do business with any law firm that has patent trolls or defended patent trolls.
Please consider Newegg in future purchases. I will support Newegg with future purchases, and I appreciate their stand for what is right and not bowing to extortion.
I can not find the story out of New York, but I believe there is another group pursuing patent trolls under The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.

Additionally, and perhaps the largest value of this win by Newegg over a patent troll - it sets precedence for all companies that were sued by patent trolls, to go after patent trolls.
