Just received a new Lenovo W530 today with Windows 7 professional. Windows 7 occupied the entire HD so I used the Windows disc utility which allows you to resize the Windows OS partition. I freed up about 225Gb. When I tried to install F18 from a live DVD, the installer did not recognize or even list the free space. So I used the F18 disc utility on the live DVD to format it as ext4. The installer than gave these two errors when it tried to retrieve the 225Gb ext4 I just created: "failed to save storage configuration" and "error checking storage configuration". I tried formating it as ntfs and got the same error. Several restarts also did not solve the problem. Not sure what to do. A google for a solution didn't really turn anything up either. Any suggestions? Thanks.
