gkrellm with xfce

Hi all,

Since upgrading to Fedora 18 i cant set my gkrellm window on the left hand side without it obscuring my desktop icons. In fedora 17 when i moved it across the desktop icons (home/trash etc) would move to the right.

Is there a way (or better way) to achieve this in F18?
