Can't access CD DVD contents

Hi Friends,


I am using Fedora 18 32+ bit distro, but whenever I insert a CD/DVD, I can't see its contents. There is no icon displayed in the left hand side column of the Window Manager such as the regular ones namely Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures etc. I have attached an image of my screen ie a screenshot to give you a better idea, please help me. Both my CD/DVDs are ok and so is my DVD drive. Thanks.
