I have a problem updating from Fedora 16 to 17. It does not work with preupgrade because it says it cannot find the .treepath file. Curl adds some path informations to the download URL and gets a 404 error.
Updating with the DVD ends with the error that the script was not able to update the symlinks for /usr. I found a link which says that I should delete all symlinks to /etc. I did that but it did not work.
Is there anything else I can do to upgrade my system?
