Fedora 18: Video Problems After Updates

Hello, everyone.

I am not sure where my problem is stemming from, but I believe that it is a video issue.

I recently installed Fedora 18 onto my HP Pavilion p6607c desktop. This system has an integrated GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 (rev a2) video card. I did not install the nVidia driver for this card; I tried to install the nVidia driver when I used Fedora 17, but it really broke the system.

Anyhow, the system worked great from a fresh install, but after kernel updates, the system will not load for some reason. It stays stuck on the gray loading screen which displays the Fedora logo. Sometimes, the screen will blink and then it will be flooded with dots. I wish that I could give you a better visual description, but I am a partially blind user, so please forgive me for my lack of visual detail. :)

I can successfully boot into my system using kernel version 3.6.10-4.fc18.x86_64, but anything after that fails to load.

I am an intermediate user, so please forgive me for any ignorance. If you need any information to further help to diagnose this issue, please let me know and I will retrieve and post it here.

Thank you very much for any help which you can offer.
