Cinnamon F17 change alt tab + slow menu

Hi,

Ideally i'd like know 3 alt tab functionality in cinnamon Alt tab between apps and alt ` between windows but failing that I just like to get rid of the window preview and have a regular alt tab with icons and text.

I've tried installing the 2 cinnamon extensions but neither worked. I've tried changing my session to Cinnamon 2D but alt tab is the same. I read in mint its changed with compiz settings manager but its not in the repositories. Does Cinnamon on Fedora use compiz?

Does anyone know how I can change the alt tab functionality?
