After a seemingly smooth install I can't get a display because my ancient nvidia
GF2 TI needs tweaking.
I can get the tty terminal on CTRL/ALT/F2
I found a helpful thread which guided me to this
first of 4 steps:
(logged in as root)
su
yum update kernel\* selinux-policy\*
reboot
but after the second line, and after a minute or two, I
got this alert:
cannot retrieve metalink for repository:fedora/18/i386
please try to verify path and try again.
Can anyone spot my problem or help to verify as required?
Thanks.
