So ... I took you at your word, and thought about Anaconda for a while.

And then I popped open the GIMP, and did some more thinking with a mouse.

So ... pick it to pieces, Adam! (Or anyone else is welcome to as well.)

- Each item on the right edge links to another page, which KEEPS the two shadowed boxes, but changes the central content to suit the task at hand.
- The upper left graphic gives a graphical view of existing drives, partitions and formats. Each drive is selected to the larger display by clicking it.
- The colored working area/graphic (on the partitioning page) adapts to the numbers plugged into the partition data boxes, or by dragging the edges of the color overlay adjusts partition size and location.
- The bottom graphic updates after you go back to the home page. (Hub of the "spokes".)
- Even though I didn't take the time to draw them in to scale, the links on the right would look better as vertical tabs.
- Dang. I forgot to put the [HOME]/[Return to Hub] button in. It goes in the bottom left corner with a left facing arrow.
