dracut Warning after F16 to F17 upgrade

I upgraded my F16 to F17 using the network install CD.

I had some problems during the yum installation phase and had to restart in rescue mode to clean up yum then rerun the upgrade process to get it to complete.

However on first boot I get the dracut warning and I drop out into a dracut# prompt.

dracut Warning: /dev/mapper/vg_walden6-lv_root does not exist
dracut Warning: /dev/vg_walden6/lv_root does not exist
dracut Warning: /dev/vg_walden6/lv_swap does not exist

I see a lot of posts with this problem but so far none seemed to have helped me.

This one seemed the most revelant and I rebuilt the grub.cfg file, installed grub2 and regenerated the initramfs.

However, still have the problem

Any other suggestions?
