Hi. Im using the new fedora 18, which btw nice job, coming along nice.
What im tryin to do is remove the desktop icons, the ones that appear when i mount a harddrive etc, And I have like 6 harddrives I use and becomes a clutter after time..
So I looked it up, What I have read was to go to:
mateconf-editor > apps
> caja
> desktop
Uncheck the volumes_visible option.
I have tried this with both mateconf-editor and dconf-editor...
Only issue is, after apps in config editor, there is no caja option, Only options I currently have is caja-sound-converter and mateconf-editor, none of which gives me my desired option, I also tried to do more searching but to no avail. All methods I currently could find are the same....
If theres any other way to do this which way would this be? I dont need no fancy eye candy config manager or anything, a text config will due, But I have no idea where it would be located and I dont feel like spending 3 pots of coffie on figurin out such a small issue....
Anyway Thanks, and hope someone has a solution :)
Btw once again, fedora 18 is looking good. Added a few custom tweaks myself :D maybe ill think about releasing em...
