no longer seeing shares

Running Fedora 18 on a windows domain. I had set up a couple shares w. samba to the network. The shares were open to the network as I intended to lock them down after i was done working with them. On Friday i was able to copy paste and view to linux shares in windows 7 just fine. This morning I ran updates ( did not test prior to this so it may be unrelated but it seems odd) Now, While I can see the server in the network tree in windows. when i try to open it I receive an error that it can not be found or i am not authorized to view... apache is running and I can see the webpages fine, i just can not browse my file shares anymore. selinux is disabled and samba and samba server is enabled in firewall...

little help?
