trying to mount my "sansa e260r" mp3 player

My mom got an iphone at christmas last year and she gave me her old mp3 player. It is a "sansa e260r". I've never been into mp3 players but I tried this thing today and in order to be able to put songs on it I had to use windows 7 =(

I have both f16 & f17. I'm trying to get it to mount like a usb flash drive does (like when it shows up on the desktop when it's plugged in)

When I plug this in the device says "connect" on the face of it, nothing appears in my media folder, or on my desktop.

I tried searching google, and the fedora forum. I couldn't find anything that helped.
