I just had a fresh net-install of F18, after some problems I had with my previous configuration.
I chose cinnamon as my default gui and the installation seemed to completed successfully.
But I have some issues again :
1. The software center doesn't work. Either I download something like teamviewer rpm, or I try to open software center and try to install deluge, the software center starts to download and stops at about 10%. Yum works fine, I installed dropbox via terminal.
2. Also, when I log out and try to log in again, I insert my password and the window shows "user logged in" but it doesn't show desktop. Even when I try to restart while I'm still in login screen, it says that there is a user logged in and it requires root password to restart.
3. there are also some minors problems, like there are no icons in the menu for log out, quit and lock screen but these really don't matter when I can not use software center.
