Blank DVD after burn

Hello,

I have created an ISO image and then burned it to disc with k3b.

I know the ISO is good as I can do the following:

su -c mount -t iso9660 -o loop myimage.iso /mnt

vlc /mnt

and the disc plays fine. Menus and all are available and clicking on any link will play that title.

However, when I use k3b to burn the image it says it completes without issue and then the "Device notifier" indicates that there is a blank disc in the machine.

If I place the disc in my Blu-ray player or XBox 360 it just constantly tries to read the disc then opens the tray.

I am not sure where to go next.

I have tried:

wodim dev=/dev/sr0 -v speed=4 -dao myimage.iso

it runs through completion and still the same issue, a blank dvd is reported.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
