I'm trying to run skype on fedora 18 x64, but my proprietary nvidia driver is causing a segmentation fault.
Over on some ubuntu questions, I found this answer
"LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/mesa/libGL.so.1 skype"
which for fedora would look something like
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib64/libGL.so.1 skype
however, trying the above gets me something like "LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored."
I've installed all 32 bit versions of all of the drivers for skype 4.x and skype 2.x, and I can't get past the stupid nvidia thing breaking it. Any ideas, other than not using skype?
