A funny thing on the way to the market.

Got your attention. Great.

I am testing the RC candidates. Here is what I have with RC1.

Anaconda has a new panel which is for software rules regarding updates. You can choose to use the DVD alone, and aftewards do a yum update, or you may choose to get the latest and greatest of the versions you chose. That means, either from the DVD, if it is current, or from the repository.

I created a root and an administrator user within anaconda.
when I rebooted, firstboot asked me to create another user. At first it was the adminstrator, but the administrator actually existed, so ... I created a normal (standard) user. By the way, the password rules for a standard user are very severe.
When it came to sudo,, suddenly the standard user was with administrator privileges. Administrator was definitely not selected. I checked guest's groups and wheel was included. Removing wheel converted the guest to a standard user.

The administrator user had three groups, his own, wheel, and root. He is not supposed to have root privileges,
and I was unable to uncheck (remove) root.
So, as a normal user I could do things that root could do because I had root group access.

RC3 is being downloaded. I will look to view what has been improved upon. It should mainly be in anaconda, because, regular updates would fix Fedora19 bugs or buglets
