Hi,
I've just completed a fresh install on F18 (64Bit) on a new machine. I had ran the latest Centos on it for 2 days in order to test some software I'm developing and it was working fine (although my sound card was not working!)
The issue I'm having is that eth0 / the Ethernet card is just not being recognized by the system. I installed the drivers from the Intel website (Intel e1000e drivers), rebooted and still nothing.
If someone is willing to give me a hand with this, that'd be great.
Some details:
lspci | grep Intel:
..
00:19.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82579V Gigabit Network Connection (rev 04)
uname -a:
Linux davebox 3.6.10-4.fc18.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Dec 11 18:01:27 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Please let me know what information is required, any help is much appreciated!
