Hi all,
I have just tried to install Nvidia drivers on fedora 18, following the steps on this post:
http://www.if-not-true-then-false.co...-nvidia-guide/
These instructions said that it was not necessary to remove the nouveau driver from initramfs, as it had been on fedora 17. So i did not do that.
This seemed to work fine, until I attempted to reinstate the plymouth splashscreen following these instructions (from the comments of the guide):
"Try following to restore graphical boot-loader,
open /etc/default/grub add splash to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX row.
Then run: grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg"
Following this, it now hangs during boot at the end of the splashscreen.
I have no idea how to proceed. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
