Where are Gnome Shell settings stored?

I'm using Fedora 17 and have turned off Notifications in the menu. Where is this setting stored? I'd like to do this programmatically (not from a GUI) when installing Fedora if I can figure out where it's saved.

Also is there a way to install the Gnome Shell panel settings extension programatically? I love being able to hide the menu to create a perfectly blank desktop.
