I am scping (that is probably not a word forgive me) and it is going just fine but once in a while I am getting a stalled message wheer it should tell me the time left and a transfer rate of 0! I panicked and started googling and saw the answer could be because of bandwith.
I am not a pro... YET so I don't really understand what could actually cause it to stall especially since I am uploading from my home where no one is there and using the internet plus I am only scping at around 120 kb/s.
Thankfully I was patient and it went right back to downloading like nothing happened. I am not sure what I am trying to accomplish by posting this thread other then if you get stalled then be patient.
I guess my question is how can I check what caused the stall and since this is the first time I ever saw this (I have SCP'd a million times) I Thought it was strange and was worried I would have to start transferring my 5 GB file all over again.
Anywho all is kosher I hope that either this thread helps someone not panick like I did or maybe leads me to why it stalled for a couple of minutes.
Thanks for reading and happy friday!
