Hi,
i use fedora 18, latest stock kernel.

With the latest kernel, i have the following problem:

May 8 15:01:13 msgrinm42 tp-fancontrol[472]: Changing fan level: 1->2 (temps: 56 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 , _ )
May 8 15:01:19 msgrinm42 tp-fancontrol[472]: Changing fan level: 2->3 (temps: 58 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 , _ )
May 8 15:04:22 msgrinm42 tp-fancontrol[472]: Changing fan level: 3->2 (temps: 50 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 , _ )
May 8 15:07:24 msgrinm42 tp-fancontrol[472]: Changing fan level: 2->1 (temps: 49 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 , _ )
May 8 15:27:33 msgrinm42 kernel: [11901.668068] userif-3: sent link up event.<0>[13750.582868] thermal_sys: Critical temperature reached(128 C),shutting down
May 8 15:27:33 msgrinm42 kernel: [13750.584426] thermal_sys: Critical temperature reached(128 C),shutting down

This happens sometimes, randomly. In my opinion, the CPU is hot, but not 128C.

There must be an issue with the latest kernel. I use VMWare WS 9.x. Havent tested if the problem also accurs, if the vmware guest is not startet.

uname -a
Linux xxxxxxx 3.8.11-200.fc18.i686.PAE #1 SMP Wed May 1 20:30:05 UTC 2013 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Laptop is a Lenovo T410 with intel hd gfx. Problem happened since latest kernel.
