KVM Windows 7 x64 guest, netkvm.sys crashes host

I have two systems, one running Scientific Linux (RHEL) 6.4 with all current updates, and another with Fedora 18 with all current updates. They are also completely different systems hardware wise.

I've had a long time Windows 7 x64 VM on the SL system that has been using the virtio network adapter with no issues at all, unfortunately, on the Fedora 18 system the virtio adapter locks up the host as soon as it attempts to browse internet or network resources. This does not happen with the Realtek or e1000 adapters, and the virtio storage and serial drivers do not cause the issue.

Both the SL and the Fedora windows VMs are running the same version of virtio drivers from spice-space.org, and I've reinstalled the Fedora VM multiple times. The only thing I haven't tried is using the SL VM disk image on the Fedora system, however both are pretty bare bones and have all recent updates.

Also, demesg does not provide any details, even in info mode, prior to the crash, so hopefully I just need to look else where.
