Attempting to recover after a crash during an update

Last night I suffered a hardware based crash during an update of 19 - to make a long story short the system now boots after I reinstalled a bunch of packages via a chroot from my 18 installation.

The problem is I can't reinstall libXvMC which the xorg intel driver needs.

this is the line I get when I try

libXvMC-1.0.7-6.20130524gite9415ddef.fc19.i686 has missing requires of config(libXvMC) = ('0', '1.0.7', '6.20130524gite9415ddef.fc19')

YUM also can't find the libxvmc package now

No Match for argument: libXvMC-1.0.7-4.fc19.i686

I have reinstalled pkg-config but it doesn't help.

Does anyone have a suggestion(s) ??
