After a yum update yesterday, my version of kernel changed from 3.8.12-100.fc17.x86_64 to 3.8.13-100.fc17.x86_64, and since then windows (gedit, firefox, xterm etc) are too wide for my screen when maximised, by about 2 centimetres, which means that the scroll bars and control boxes are missing (actually still there but off to the right hand side of my monitor).
If I change nothing and reboot into 3.8.12-100, the windows are the correct size when maximised.
I can circumvent by opening windows non-maximised and resizing them, but it's far from ideal
Any ideas on what might have changed?
Thanks
Bill
