Hi,
I bought a Raspberry Pi with one NIC. Pidora will get installed on it, based on F18.
Unfortunately, this devices just possesses 1 NIC. I could install one more by USB, but this is not the goal.
So i thought:
- Create Alias-NIC's
- Putting them in separate VLAN's
- Manage those by iptables
...but iptables is not able to manage aliases, as i read. You have to manage this by including the IP-Adresses of the aliases...
Question:
Is this manageable by firewall-cmd? Or do i have to fiddle this out directly with iptables?
My hope was to create new zones by alias and add then those aliases (or the IP's) to the zones.
Thx,
Roger
