allow FedUp to skip some package download

I am failing to upgrade from F17 using FedUp because of a failed VirtualBox rpm download.
The Oracle repo has always been known for terrible bandwidth, but currently it stalls and the ETA approaches eternity.
FedUp eventually gives up and fails.

Assuming this does not compromise the upgrade, is there a way to tell FedUp to ignore some package and proceed?

Any advice is appreciated.
