Dear all, i have installed Fedora 18 and have successfully installed and configured samba server onto it. i have a share folder with the path media/samba/public having visible and write permissions.
i have a windows 7 client on which i have mapped that share folder called public which has beeen successfully mapped. i can copy data from the shared folder delete data from it, but when i try to write data to it means wanted to create a new folder or file in the share folder it gives an error on the client windows 7 machine saying you donot have rights to do, and at the same time it displays an alert onto the samba server saying AVC denial.
What would the problem? and if there is any solution to it kindly share.
Thanks in advance.
