I'm fairly new to Linux and brand new to Fedora. I have an intel g7 laptop, with an HD 3000 graphics card. When I first installed Fedora I had to add nomodeset in order to see anything but a blank screen. Now I have everything installed and working but when I close the lid and then open it everything is black and the computer won't "wake up". I looked around and saw some people with this issue and attempted the solutions mentioned but nothing works. I have installed the intel drivers, and tried setting my power options so that it doesn't suspend when plugged in and closed, but nothing is working. This isn't a huge deal, as I can still use my laptop, but I don't want to have to restart everytime I close the lid. Thanks for any help.
