I did a software update last night and rebooted. The display comes up, windows are shown, some (not all) text is shown. Many of the icons are not fully formed, seeming to only show a course outline of the shape. Background screen image is fine.
I'm suspecting a graphics driver - how to find out what it is please?
Reverting to last kernel on boot has everything back to normal.
