Hello,
I'am trying to install Fedora on a new 64bits machine that I acquired yesterday. As I explained here, I am unable to boot on any version of Fedora: After installing the OS with a Live version and reboot, no OS is detected by the BIOS. I tryed with a first computer (LENOVO 64bits i-Core5) that I returned to the vendor. I just got I new ACER aspire i-core5 and I have been trying to install Three different versions of Fedora with no success. what is quite annoying is that Ubuntu works on the same machine.
I'am performing the installation threw a USB key using "Fedora Live USB Creator", for Ubuntu I Used "Linux Live USB Creator" wtih better results but only for Ubuntu.
As recommended by srs5694 here I did this and this
I noticed also that Ubuntu 13 have the same booting problem, Ubuntu 12 works very fine on the same machine.
