Do nothing on closing the lid instead triggers a suspend

For Gnome, it is a normal behaviour, that on closing the lid, the pc suspends, but I would like that my notebook still works and doesn't suspend.

On Beefy Miracle I used the gnome-tweak-tool to setup my Asus Eee PC 1000H to not suspend, and right now after upgrading, Gnome in Spherical Cow ignores this settings.

I just had a look with the dconf-editor on the settings under
org -> gnome -> settings-daemon -> plugins -> power

No matter, how I setup the entries like lid-close-ac-action (blank, nothing), anytime I close the lid, the pc goes into suspend.

The setting
Laptop lid, when closed,, will suspend even if there is an external monitor plugged in
is deactivated.

Any information which setting I possibly miss is very welcome, I would like that my notebook doesn't suspend and still works, when closing the lid :)

Thanks,

Sascha
