I am using F17 LXDE my dsl modem does not work (it is new). You fire it up and the power, dsl and ethernet lights come on solid green but the internet light remains blank.I have called ATT to test things on their end and things are ok. DSL line is plugged directly into the phone jack, power line is plugged into the wall. It is not the new modem (actiontec) as the same thing happened on the one I just replaced.( best data). I have checked the network setup and dsl username and password are ok. One night it worked ok (with the old one), and in the morning it did not. This was why I got a new one, but it has not made any difference. Any thoughts?
