Because Opera does not provide repository support it is extremely difficult to upgrade or maintain. Which, in this day and age is perhaps not the best thing for a security conscious individual. My problem? I'm not sure what browser to go for o_o;
I have a feeling I'll have to revert to firefox *le sigh* but I liked the functionality, the adherence to specification and better security in Opera (not that I've ever needed it for linux). The lack of security was why I left Firefox in the first place (well, aside from the near constant crashes).
