Setup Managesieve on Dovecot

Hi,

I just setup dovecot and pigeonhole for having sieve-filtering on the server. I installed everything correctly, users can set their filters, but dovecot (lda) seems not to make use of them.

I did not set protocols = sieve

could this be the issue? I ask this, because pop/imap-protocols are supported on dovecot without being mentionned in protocols. is this in dovecot just pop/pop3s imap/imaps entered somewhere as a default?
