I seem to have a very rough time doing a network between two laptops.
One of the laptops has FreeBSD 9.0, on the other one I am running Fedora17. It results that I can connect to FreeBSD, but not the other way:
How may I fix it? It seems that F17 his a bit introverted about being connected :(
Thanks in advance
One of the laptops has FreeBSD 9.0, on the other one I am running Fedora17. It results that I can connect to FreeBSD, but not the other way:
- Ping works fine for both sides, with 0% loss
- If I try to ssh from Fedora to BSD, it works like a charm
- If i try to ssh from BSD to F17, it greets me with an infamous connect to host xxx.xxx.x.x port 22: Connection refused
- I tried to deactivate the firewall on F17, change the port where i try to connect, and I am running the sshd daemon for sure, no results.
- Doing a ssh localhost on F17 works
- If i try to host a game on F17 and connect to it with BSD, I can see it, but I can't connect.
- If i try to host a game on BSD and connect to it with F17, I have no problems.
