I'm using fedora 16
in the network manager, when clicking the network icon on the navigation bar
it will pop up a small window, where I can push the button to turn a wireless card/adapter on or off
is there any command line to turn a wireless card/adapter on?
I'm using a plug-in wireless adapter, and it is always off by default when I plug it in
and for "ifconfig" command, it shows:
in the GUI environment, I can click the button to turn it on
but but I need go to the command-line interface,
so are there any command line for that?
thanks
