HP WIFI Quick Launch icon

I am using Fedora 17 64-bit on an HP Pavilion dv4-1125nr. The WIFI quick play light will not illuminate and when I go to the network connections it does not even show a WIFI card. How can I get the WIFI light to illuminate and get Fedora to recognize the WIFI card? I have a dual boot w/ Windows 7, and Windows 7 sees the WIFI card and the lights comes on fine.
