Question about video driver on F17

Hello:

I just installed F17 and my monitor is running in a less than preferred configuration. In my search for an updated or more capable driver, that's where I get stuck. I'm never given specific information about the video adapter from the system -- it's all generic:

Code:

lspci -nnk | grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:0126] (rev 09)

and this:

Code:

lspci -v -s 00:02.0
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Device 1582
        Flags: fast devsel, IRQ 16
        Memory at dd000000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=4M]
        Memory at c0000000 (64-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M]
        I/O ports at e000 [size=64]
        Expansion ROM at <unassigned> [disabled]
        Capabilities: [90] MSI: Enable- Count=1/1 Maskable- 64bit-
Capabilities: [d0] Power Management version 2
        Capabilities: [a4] PCI Advanced Features

I'm still very new to this and not sure where to search next... I'd like to get better resolution and 32 bit color (it will only run n 24 now). Can I upgrade this video driver? What card is it? I'll attach my Xorg.0.log too.

Thanks for your assistance!!!
