Fedora 18 anaconda feature

Fedora 18 anaconda feature that I had not seen with the Fedora 17 DVD, is the new ability to directly read a Fedora ISO file. If this feature is backported to Fedora 17, then for some of us, we would or should be able to install Fedora 18 directly from Fedora 17. I like to do updates this with every new release because I want to not continue with some applications that i installed, but thereafter I cannot install because of dependencies. When the time comes, I will install the 64 bit version on one of my computers and the 32 bit version on the other. (I write C code and need to test both versions live).

Extra blah blah
I have been enjoying F18 I386 DVD version and with BTFRS file system. I really can't tell the difference in speed of IO between BTFRS and EXT4. I know that some tests showed EXT4 as better. The new Kernel announced Dec 12th 3.7 is supposed to help btfrs to exceed EXT4 performance.

A help request
When I installed F18, I chose USA English as the installation language, but Canada French as the keyboard. When I enter terminal mode (ctl-alt-f2), the keyboard presented is USA English.
I think this is a bug, as F17 recognized that my desired keyboard was first in the list, during it's installation, but F18 does not.

I presume this is a bugzilla case.
