Help with Grub2 and Windows

I am a new user of Fedora, switching from Linux Mint.

Here is a little back story. I was getting a little tired of my Linux Mint partition. I have had a dual boot since I got my machine, I have been able to switch between Windows 7 and Ubuntu (my original partition). When I switched to Mint, I had no trouble dual booting the system. I then wanted to switch to Debian. I had a hard time installing the system but in the end had it (unsatisfactorily). Because I was unsatisfied with the Debian partition, I switched to Fedora 17, without checking to see if the Windows 7 partition could boot (the file system was still available). After installing Fedora, I couldn't boot Windows.

I have been looking around for a solution to my issue. So far nothing has worked. I have tried to update grub, but it doesn't recognize the Windows partition as bootable. I went into 'Disks' application and set the partition to bootable and tried to update grub2 through grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg but it still does not recognize the Windows partition.

I really need the Windows partition for my research. I hope that someone can help me at least boot into it so I can either setup a boot loader on that drive or help me figure out how to make GRUB2 recognize the other partition.
