Partitioning during installation

I thought I'd install F18 on my laptop, dual-booting with Windows 7. Since I just finished reinstalling Windows 7 I really don't want to mess things up there. During the installation of F18 I noticed that it saw the laptops entire hard-drive but gave no options to partition as one would get during an Ubuntu installation.

So, must I partition in Windows first, then pick that partition during the F18 install, or did I miss something?
