Grub2 in FC3?

Hi everyone, I'm new here.

Before anything, I need to use Fedora Core 3, so please don't tell me to upgrade to a more recent version. I need to install grub2 on my system, but I can't find it anywhere. When I try to install anything using yum, I get a message telling me that the url for the base repo cannot be found. I've been searching through the internet and I read somewhere that Fedora Core 3 it's not supported anymore, so it's not a surprise to found that the repo is down. Finally I tried to download the rpm file to install it manually, but all I got is for Fedora 16+ (I don't know if it's valid for Fedora Core 3, I guess it's not, because it says "Fedora 16" (or 17 or 18) in the "Distribution" field). Then I'm wondering, is it really not possible to install grub2 on Fedora Core 3? Do I really need to upgrade?
I'm really desperate because it's for an University work, and I really can't use another OS.
Sorry if my english is bad, I'm a little rusty.

Thanks in advance,
Rob

PS: I'm working with Fedora as a guest in VirtualBox using a W8 host. I don't know if it has some kind of relevance.
