Hey guys,

I'd like to have any info on SxS cards.

I tried mounting one today and got this in /var/log/messages

Code:

Apr  5 18:48:24 localhost kernel: [  451.399101] pci 0000:04:00.0: BAR 0: assigned [mem 0xf2800000-0xf2800fff 64bit]
Apr  5 18:48:24 localhost kernel: [  451.399139] pci 0000:04:00.0: no hotplug settings from platform

It seems that lspci shows the device perfectly:

Code:

04:00.0 Mass storage controller: Sony Corporation Device 905c
        Subsystem: Sony Corporation Device 81ce
        Physical Slot: 1
        Flags: fast devsel
        Memory at f2800000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [disabled] [size=4K]
Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 3
        Capabilities: [48] Vital Product Data
        Capabilities: [50] MSI: Enable- Count=1/1 Maskable- 64bit+
Capabilities: [70] Express Endpoint, MSI 00
        Capabilities: [100] Advanced Error Reporting
        Capabilities: [200] Virtual Channel
        Capabilities: [400] Vendor Specific Information: ID=0020 Rev=1 Len=100 <?>

I tried looking the kernel source (munuconfig) and didn't find anything about scandisk or sxs. Found a sony_laptop module though... which might be it.

Anyway, as I said, any info is appreciated.

p.s. yes, I know what wikipedia says about the drivers... don't care.
