What I would like to see is the functionality on the right side of the screen, which fiters by application, programming, system tools, etc. Fedora 19 beta tc4 does not have it.
To understand what I mean, install gnome desktop with all the applications presented in anaconda.
Then because my 2nd user wants kde, perform a sudo yum groupinstall 'KDE Desktop'
Now switch to ALL via
Activity-->[:::] --> ALL.
Count the number of icons shown. Dont forget to explode Utilities and the other one
Compare this list against Fedora 18, which allowed you to filter by one of the short list of key phrases.
(The System Tools, Programming, etc).l
Please reply with your count of the number of icons. Do it after adding some optional Gnome Games and KDE games.
How many??? My count for ALL was 183 Unique Icons which include 18 additional for Utilities and 17 additional in Sundry
My grand total without full applcation programming workbenches is 183+18+17 = 218 unique icons
Surely there must be some Filtering Capability provided for Fedora 19, before Go Live.in July, If not F19 go live date, then some time shortly there after.
